A very sad time- and my Candy Jar Challenge freebie is up!

I very seldom write anything personal on my blog or share much of my life here, but I have come to know the digiscrapping world as a caring community so I thought I would start to share a few snippets of my life. You may have noticed I have not been around much the last week or so. My nephew Storm, who was only 18, and the only son of my hubby's brother Malcom, and my sister in law Sharon, was killed tragically in a car accident on Wednesday night. My boys are devastated as they loved Storm and we will all miss him, he was a live wire, full of fun and someone you could not ignore and there will be a gap in all of our lives. How can parents survive something like this, but you have to go on. I would like to share some pictures of the family.

I have had a bit of a mojoless month, rather had some fun doing LO's!! But I have managed to do some Autumn Things CU templates.

Here is a LO of my hubby fishing in Australia when he was there 2 months ago, he is not a fisherman but managed to catch this fish and looks so proud of himself haha.Credits here

I am back! Some LO's and a freebie!

We got back on Sunday from Thailand, 6 days on Phuket Island at the Club Med hotel and 2 days in Bangkok. Unfortunately there was a monsoon and it rained every day and we saw the sun peep out once! But because it is warm the rain did not really bother us, we still went on a boat (junk) cruise, site seeing, eating out,shows, shopping and more shopping, I am all shopped out! It was a wonderful experience, but I am glad to be home, I missed my kids and animals, and I have been tired all week, catching up on housework and tying to catch up in the digi world too.

So much to tell you today, and this will probably be my last post for at least 2 weeks, as I am off on holiday to Bangkok (one night in Bangkok) and about 10 days in Phuket!! I am so excited, although little apprehensive about going to a place where there was so much destruction and death. We are going with hubby's business colleagues and their partners , about 24 of us, so it should be one loooong party, I think we will need a holiday when we get back. My wonderful mom in law Audrey is flying here to look after my kids, so I know I can relax and not worry about what is going on at home. I have a new camera that I have not touched yet, so I can't wait to use it, so be prepared to see lots of flops haha.

We leave on Friday 5th Sept.
