My garden- and some good news!

I thought I would show you some photos of my garden as all you ever see if concrete and paving! These are some of my pot plants that normally stand around the pool, they are currently in a heap out of the way of plaster and fiberglass, but they are going to need a good clean after this!Just a few shots of my garden, it is small, and I have never really done much to it since we have been here as we had 2 labs that destroyed anything that was planted. Unfortunately we had to put them both down this year due to old age and diabetes. I would like to do some work in it next year.
Although a small garden, we have some huge palm trees, I would love to know how old they are!This is around our front entrance, I love how the palm tree branches are so low, and how the ivy and ferns grow up the trunk!
And from outside the yard.The jacuzzi completed and working, all the paving is done!
And the martini seat is done, the fiberglass and mosaics go on tomorrow and the water in on Saturday!And then lots of work to finish everything off, like the light fittings, getting my plants back, painting and finishing the cladding and all the cleaning up!! The good news is that I have signed up to sell again from next year, but it is a surprise at the moment, so watch this space. Although I am very sad to leave Digital Candy, this is going to be fresh and new and exciting!! Watch this space!
And I have a new addition to my digital family- a brand new notebook, I am so excited. My son works in IT support and managed to get it for me at an excellent price, he is setting everything up for me tonight all ready to take with me on vacation, I told you I was an addict! This is my first PC with Vista- HELP!!

5 days to go!

Only 5 days to go before we leave for Cape Town, and I still have soooo much to do!

Exams are over!!!!

I am so happy, my kids wrote their last exams today, and next week is just a fun week at school if they want to attend, I am hoping just to sleep in late and looking forward to no driving!!! I have had such a week of mixed emotions, sadness that Digital Candy is closing, but excited by a few proposals and opportunities, but nothing definitely in the pipeline as yet. I need my holiday first!!

Closing down sale!

Yes, I am closing shop at Digital Candy. Actually sadly Digital Candy is closing doors altogether on 31 December. You can read all about it here. Digital Candy was like a second home to me, I loved every minute of my time there, and will have only good memories. I have put my entire store on a 50% off sale until 12 December, then I will close.

We leave for a family vacation on 14 December until early January, then I have decided to take a break from designing for awhile, I need to do plenty of spring cleaning after our renovations, and get my kids settled in school, get back to gym and lose all the weight I put on sitting on my backside for a year designing LOL!
I think designing is in my blood now so I will be back when I feel ready. I will not neglect my blog, still have my beloved CT's and friends in the scrapping world! And I am definitely not giving up scrapping!

Reves de l'amour- and a freebie!

I have a new kit in my store, I suppose you could call it a mini as it is smaller than my other kits, but really bigger than the normal min! When I was doing it it reminded me a bit of French decor, so decided to give it a French name - Reves de l'amour. I hope it means Dreams of love, so if I am wrong please correct me!LOL.
