Congrats Holly!!!

Catching up!

I am feeling pretty out of touch with the digi world lately. After spending a week with my family I am home to more chaos, my in laws have temporarily moved in with us while waiting for their house to be sold. We have started on another big renovating project which I will be sharing with you week by week through photos. So watch this space! My sister Bonnie is now with ESS as I mentioned last time. She has a brand new kit out called A Breath of Fresh Air, lots of painted goodies which I love.

Thank you!!!

Just wanted to thank you all for your messages and emails, we have been overwhelmed by your support and kindness!!! I am at Bonnie's house, arrived on Monday afternoon, and am here until Friday to spend time with her and my dad. We have spoken a lot about Rob and looked through albums of photos, we find that by talking about him helps to heal the pain.Here are some more photos of us taken in December at Moyo, we had such a fun evening!

I brought along my laptop and we are both doing some catching up.

Bonnie's shop is now open at ESS and she has a 25% off saleI will try to get back into the swing of things next week when I am home. I also have my in laws staying with us now for a while, so I won't be having as much PC time as I did.

Sad News

Thank you all so much for your well wishes, it means so much to Bonnie and I.
Rob passed away late afternoon (New Zealand time) on Wednesday, due to complications after the op, they tried to relieve pressure on his brain due to the swelling, but it was too late, they discovered he was brain dead, so my sister in law had his life support switched off as he had wanted this if anything had gone wrong. I am grateful that Laurie, my sister in law, had time to be with him and say goodbye. She is a very strong person and so far is coping. She has a beautiful little daughter and needs to be strong for her too. I have happy memories of Rob, we were so fortunate to spend a holiday together in December, and those are the memories I have of him, a healthy fun loving person. We will miss him terribly. Bonnie and I are not flying to New Zealand anymore, my dad needs us and I am instead flying to Cape Town early next week to spend time with my family. Laurie has her family to support her there. Life is so unpredictable and unfortunately death is part of life and we have to deal with it and go on.

I will not be around much the next week , we just need time to deal with the sadness.
