Weekend retreat,$1 sales, and my Pixie Pouch freebie

We had a lovely weekend away with friends at one of our local dams, Hartbeespoort. The weather was amazing, and the house, La Residence we hired was lovely, huge, with wonderful views. I took hundreds of photos, these are just a few!

Weekend pics and a freebie

We had a lovely long weekend away, and the Durban July was great fun, although the fashions weren't as way out as they have been in the past. the food and drinks flowed all day, and unfortunately we lost horribly on the main race, but broke even at the end of the day. We came home exhausted. Here are a few photos:

We brought our Cane Corso pup home on Sunday, he is so cute and playful and already sleeping in my son's bed with him.Fine while he is tiny but in a few months he will be huge. He is already basically potty trained, I can't believe how quick he is to learn. he eats like a horse, so thank goodness those landmines are deposited outside LOL!
Well another hectic week ahead, we leave again on Friday for another long weekend with friends.
