Permanent middle finger (hee hee) and a freebie!

Hee hee, I know it looks hilarious, but I promise you at the time it wasn't!!! 6 weeks ago my son (who is about 72 kg's) fell on my hand in the car, and to make a very long story short (I went from doctor to doctor and specialist to specialist) I eventually had a scan(sonar) and it was discovered that I had torn the volar plate (the ligament that holds the knuckle together) clean off and with it some of the bone. It is still terribly painful and I cannot move my finger at all. the splint will be on for up to 9 months, and possibly I will have to have an op at the end of it all. I start physio in a few weeks to see if I can start moving it.

just wanted to stop by and say OUCH! Your poor finger. That does not look like its any fun to wear that splint, let alone get any work done. I sure hope it wasnt your mouse hand!

Take care of the finger! Love your Nov CAC elements...
