Goodbye PSP, hello PS CS3!!

After only a month of lessons and tutorials with Andrea Gold from Godigitalscrapbooking, I am doing my LO's with PS CS3, which I got a few months ago, and thought I would never be able to learn how to use it. I absolutely love all the short cuts, the actions and the fact that I can scrap 3600 x 3600 LO's, which I could not do in PSP as it was just too slow. I had to resize everything to fit onto my 800 x 800 LO, losing a lot of quality in the process. PS is fantastic in that it loses no quality when resizing to web size! I still have so much to learn, this is only the begining. I am also learning how to design using it, so my next freebie will be all done in PS!! (In a few days!)

I am very proud to say that 2 of my LO's made it to Gallery standouts at DST last week!! This one was done using KimB's awesome new Kit. Lovable, available HERE. As you probably know I have been on Nina's awesome CT for a few months. This is a really up and coming CT, with lots of plans and ideas to promote our wonderful designer Nina!! I am back -and my first freebie for 2008!!

Hello everyone -and a happy new year to you all! I can't believe it is over a month ago that I last blogged! We returned from a wonderful vacation on 5 December, but I have been so hectically busy getting my life back in order with piles of washing etc, catching up on neglected CT stuff and, getting 2 kids back to school, and one to a new job!

Our vacation was brilliant, beautiful hot weather, and not much wind. One of the highlights was meeting some of the ladies from Snap & Scrap. We had lunch at the beautiful Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West, an afternoon with much laughter and a few glasses of wine! I still have so many pictures to scrap, but here is one that I have managed to do! And some photos!
